A New Home for our Furniture Bank

In Ottawa, hundreds of individuals and families, including newcomers, women fleeing violence, and families leaving homelessness, secure housing—only to move into completely empty spaces.
No beds. No tables. No chairs.
This is furniture poverty — and it’s a hidden but growing crisis. Without furniture, stability remains out of reach, and the cycle of insecurity continues.
